Im about to buy a Pair of Angels as ive got 2 more tanks set up 1 for the pair and one for fry.I know i wont be able to keep all of the fry, so i was wondering could i feed some of the unwanted wrigglers to my Large mollies and My other Angels (medium size)? Thanks. :good:

Using fish as feeder fish, is actually against the law, But Fry are full of protein. Hence why i have lots of mollies in breeder boxes but no fry in any, and my angels are fat. If you get me?
You could always try to fine some1 who would take them off you, I will if you are not too far away.

Haha- Aint got no fry yet but was just wondering if it could be done, As i would like to keep all the fry but know i dont have enough tanks. Il take that as a yes then... :hyper: Just had a look at your tanks and they look great. :good:

Sounds like Raza has room for some fry, but just trying to plan to handle an overstocked situation.

If you have a community tank why don't you put the angels back in there for a while until you think that the fry are big enough to be sold. The eggs will be eaten in there before they can develop, which means your numbers will be kept down, you shouldn't just feed them to other fish.

i want the fry but i know i wont have enough tank space to keep them, so instead of just killing them off i was wondering if they could be fed to my other fish..

I love double dark black angels. I started with a half dozen quarter size wanting to get a pair. It took some months but I did and then I got spawns. And that is why I stopped spawning angels.

A prolific pair will have little problem giving you a many as 400 - 500 or more fry at a go. Moreover they can and will spawn about every two weeks give or take.

Angel breeders I know suggest 2x55 gal growout tanks for each breeding pair, plus a big predator to eat all the culls.
