anenomes?

What sort of creature are we talking about here? Do you mean a marine anenome, the sort clownfish live in (according to "Finding Nemo")? In which case, I think you need to post to the Marine and Reef section.

Anenomes are carnivorous, they sting and kill small fish, crustacea etc. The Clown Fish secretes a slime which confuses the receptors on the anenome it lives in thus receiving protection from the anenome. It is thought that the anenome also receives tidbits from the clown fish so it's not a one way thing.

Traditionally you feed anenomes with bits of shrimp or prawn, but they'll eat most things.

You'll get a better answer from a marine keeper.

I'd use packages of fresh frozen whole sardines and squid. Chop up and feed a few small pieces once a day or other day, they also like the "wings" from the squid.

anemone's  i have 3 and i feed mine frozen brine shrimp, krill, squid. and VHP<very hi protein. they need all these things to do well. if you get the clown fish kind you dont have to hand feed as often but if you get the condy anemone you have to hand feed every other day. so that they dont starve and make sure you have a mature tank(at least 6 months or more) and lots and lots of light or they will shrivle up to nothing and die.
