I run the penquin filters. Each compartment can hold 2 filter pads. I only use 1 pad in each compartment. The rest of the room i use ceramic rings in a small net type bag. Works great. If the wheel stops.... i have the ceramic rings for back up. U can buy small bags of ceramic rings just about any lfs or petstore.
