i have become very interested in our little reptilian friends. i don't have room to house the monitors i love, but i do have room for some frogs. looking for anyone here that may also keep amphibians or who know of some great reptile/amphibiam forums or sites. i'm interested in green tree frogs or possibly whites tree frogs..............

Mam

I don't have any frogs now but I kept them for a long time. Green tree frogs in particular are a lot of fun. I would highly recommend keeping them. I found them to do best in groups of two or three. They are most active at night and often males will croak once evening comes. Just make sure to not have any water in the terrarium that is deeper than they are tall.

I've not had a whites tree frog, but have done a lot of reading on them and have had a special interest in them as well. They get large and do not do well with any other types of smaller frogs as they are likely to eat them.

As with all frogs, if you do decide to get one or more and go to a pet store, inspect them carefully. Any kind of red sore or wound on a frog is very hard to treat.

Let me know if you have any questions. I'll do my best to help if I can. :)

Hi MAM :)

Do you have any aquatic frogs? I love both my African Clawed and African Dwarf frogs. There's a link in my signature about them with more information and links. :D

We're getting quite a bit of interest in out Invertebrates and Amphibians forum and I hope you'll post about your frogs there too. ;)

Here's a link to another frog site that you might find interesting:
