i heard theres ammonia in ur hair so if u "fell" and dunked ur head in the tank will some ammonia come off and go into the water?

i didnt know there was ammonia in hair surely for it to come off in fish tank water hair would have to be water soluble?!

There's ammonia in some hair dyes, but I've never heard about ammonia being in just plain hair.....

The best way to check is to test the water I guess

There's ammonia on some soap and shampoo, but I don't know if it stays after you wash it or something

there is no ammonia in hair, it is primarily made up of carbon and the only ammonia "in it" as said would be from chemicals.
