Ammonia for fishless cycling in the UK

Hi All

I contacted my local lfs for some Ammonia to fishless cycle my tank but they don`t stock it (actually they`d never even heard of fishless cycling) - anyone got any suggestions on where I can get some Ammonia from in the UK ?

I'm currently doing a fishless cycle with a product called 'Cycle' by Nutrafin, your lfs should have it. You have a better chance getting ammonia from your local DIY shop or chemist, ring around, someone should have it.

Chemist or hardware store should sell pure ammonia.

I think you can get some from Boots too... If you can get some filter media from an established tank you won't even need to worry about cycling though. As for your LFS not stocking pure ammonia, I've never heard of an LFS that does!
