My guess is that wouldn't work unless you had some sort of space-age plastic.

Think about how much heat would bleed through when you took a steaming hot bath!

Since the patent came out in 1982 & the product has never shown up I guess us Americans didn't buy into the idea, It must have been invented by one of our many transplants from the UK!

i am going to have a saltwater pool to swim in when i get older...

i always wanted to get a pool made for fish. people have them, this one guy had one, but it was just for jellyfish, not to swim with.

Ya know... on the show Extreme Makeover Home Edition... they gave one family a bathroom.. and the sink was a fishtank. Like there was the regular faucet, drain, and small shelf (like enough room for toothbrush and tooth paste) and all that, but if I remember... the shelfing part was all clear.

I recently had new patio doors fitted, and suggested to wife that we made a pond outside it with a stream running into the living room and out again under a clear glass floor.
I thought it would be nice
She just said shut up you arse.
Well it was worth a try.

I think thats a lovely idea, It reminds me of a restoration programme where the owners uncovered a well in their lounge and rather than covering it up they made a feature of it ( they put a see through flooring over it , didnt just leave an open well in the lounge )
