Amazon Swords

Hey, just bought some nice Amazon Swords and I'm having trouble planting it. Do I need to completely cover all of the roots with gravel or will they find their way? I tried to bury a few but there's just too many 6-8 inch roots to bury them all.

It's best if you can bury all the roots without damaging them but if you miss a couple it's not going to be a huge problem. That type of sword is pretty easy to grow so will rebound in time if it wasn't planted perfectly. Just make sure the top of the root ball isn't buried and you should be good to go.

looks fine to me - it will send more roots down into the substrate as it grows.
