Alvse's Eheim Opal 120 (95g/360l) Aquascape

The rocks and the contrast of the substrates looks amazing!!

[background=rgb(250, 250, 250)]I've now set up my DIY CO2. I've installed an old Eheim PowerBall powerhead I had, and piped the CO2 tube into the bottom of it's strainer.[/background]
[background=rgb(250, 250, 250)]It's shooting nice tiny CO2 bubbles throughout the tank. Pretty sure I see beading on the Ricca [/background]

[background=rgb(250, 250, 250)]Also attached some Java Fern to the driftwood. Will post pics tonight once it's dark enough not to have reflections on the glass :p[/background]

If its pearling take a pic with just blue lighting on, it should show it really well. :)

Absolutely incredible. Probably one of the best tank set-ups I've ever seen! What fish are you planning to stock this with?

Currently at day 6 and noticing brown dusty algae (diatoms), also some white growth forming on the substrate and on the glass and cloudiness of water (water has been clear till now). I'm thinking bacterial bloom?

Ammonia levels at about 1ppm
Nitrite 0ppm
Nitrates 20ppm

Currently on a 50% daily water change

Day 16
Fish have been added over the last week in small groups from the old tank.

Angels already laying eggs, second day in their new home...

Just an update...

Removed the HC, it wasn't really growing too well, and the fish kept pulling them out. The angel fish also ate all the Riccia

Have planted Glosso instead and has taken root and slowly spreading. Also put in more hairgrass.
I've re-arranged the rock wall slightly and added some new pieces to give it a bit more bulk.
Added a temporary set of2xT8 lights to give the plants a little boost.

Water is a bit hazy after disturbing some soil and scrubbing the rock faces.

Looking great. DIY Co2 will give you problems on a tank this size. Pressurised will be a massive benefit.

I like the effect of the backlight - great job.
