All Pond Solutions Internal Filters - Any Good ?

all pond solutions internal filters - any good ?
are there rating for tanks about right or are they more powerful as many say.
I would use as a additional filter for a 220L tanks.

can you put media in instead of all the sponge.

Ive had a couple internals from All Pond Solutions and i couldnt fault them, they did the job i wanted them for on a couple of small tanks.
 
They are small, compact, quiet and easy on the eye, what more could you ask for? My only issue was they got clogged easily but that may have been due to my laziness more than anything.
 
I did use other media in mine and got the desired result so no reason you wont

It was the 600lph one i used and it didnt seem to powerful to me, it performed exactly how i expected it to.
 
I cant remember what media i was using at the time sorry so cant be of much use, it was something granular .

Its really stupidly powerful and quite noisy, but it does a brilliant job.

Both sitting in my cupboard somewhere, ive since gone saltwater so dont really use them but kept them to hand just incase.
