All my fish died...now I think my tanks going though a mini cycle!

I had a GT, JD, Blackbelt, pleco, and a catfish in my 90G tank for about 6 months. I had be cycled already and everything. But about 1 month ago I had to move the tank into differnet room. I took out everything, all the plants and rocks, ortaments, filters, and heater. I just put them off to the side to start taking all the water out. About 2 days later my fish start acting strange. Then started swimming around like crazy hitting their heads on the glass and then they would just fall to the bottom of the tank and gash for air. They did this for about 1 week or two. Yesterday I walked in to find my GT, balckbelt, catfish all dead. Now all thats in the tank is a 3 inch JD. I have no idea what to do. I did a 50% water change last night and now the water is even clouder then before, like it's going though a cycle again. The ph is at 8 and the ammoina is at 0. I think it might have been the nirites in the water but I have no idea.

I seriously need some help becuase this is really stressing me out. What do I do? If its going though a cycle again what do I do about it? I really haven't done a fishy-cycle before. Please help me. I have a 100G filter and a 35G filter going it the tank. Thakns

It could be possible that there could be some chemicals or what not in the water when you moved it, unless you moved all the water over. Though I am sure you dechlorinated it and what not.

I did dechlorinated it. It's been like a month or so and I've done probably like 3 or 4 water changes. I just don't no what do do. I really would like to get this problem figured out because I plan on moving a oscar, convict and a JD into the tank for a larger tank that I have.

when you moved your tank did you keep your filter in some tank water or did you take it stright out of the tank if so you might have killed your filter and the cycle may have started all ovever again

Thats what I did! I feel like a retard. Well what do I do now? Do I start cycling all ove again? And if so how do I do it?

dont want to sound bad but if you have killed your filter, the cycle will have to start again try the stuff for sale forum might be able to get some filter media from there to help. All i can sat is good luck sorry

Check to see if someone is near you, some cycled media will help with your problem.

Try going to one of the local shops you have been dealing with and try to get some cycled filter media, or gravel from a cycled tank. This will help your tank cycle a little faster.

That is a fully stocked tank even though it's a pretty good size one. Daily water changes of around 25% will help. What are you using for a water treatment for chlorine?

No, I don't think that's what he was suggesting. He was suggesting the 25% water exchange to reduce your Nitrite/Ammonia levels. Water exchanges can actually increase cycling time. I'm assuming when you emptied your tank you probably gave the tank and gravel a good wash? If so, most if not all of your beneficial bacteria was destroyed, creating a virgin tank. If you can't get mature media from a lfs you'll have to decide on which method of cycling. For fish cycling, here's a few links...
