Algea on the glass.... how to rid?

as others have said - get yourself ready for some scrubbing ;)
also, as mentioned by leanne before me those magnet scrapers are really good  I have to keep mine in the tank permenantly though since the Betta likes sitting on it

I didn't realize how good bristlenoses eat algae until when I forgot to feed them! :D

I usually put vegetables twice a week, but I forgot to put one for almost 2 weeks and bang! All glasses are clean!

I suggest bristlenoses - they are really good at cleaning algae. The only area that they don't clean are objects closer to the surface of the water - such as top of the plants.

Mine eat even hair algae... They just need to be hungry enough to eat them. Now I only feed them vegetables once per week.

BN's will eat algae though it's definitely not a good idea to let them live off of it just as any other algae eater needs other supplements in their diet. Just as long as you feed them vegetables though they ought to be okay.

hmm I have one of the magnetic things, dont remember where from though? dont recall buying it.
gave it a shot, and wow, works pretty good and I can stay dry doing it.
