Albino Africa Clawed Aquatic Frogs
what info can anyone tell me on them
i know they can live for 25 years , like to hide in the day , feed fish food

I learned the hard way they don't mix well with fish. They are very hardy animals. They will eat just about anything. They do not appear to be very smart. Mine didn't hide very much. If they breed, you will have about 5,000 tadpoles that will turn into 5,000 little frogs.

ok so how many gallons UK should they be in with out fish

so can i put the frog with my 2 gold fish in a 24 gallon tank

Wouldn't recommend it unless you want fat frogs and no goldfish, frogs like warmer temps too.

Emma

  your joking  i would never of through they would be apply to eat my goldfish
my gold fish are about 5 cm long  ( its good i asked coz i was just going to do it )

would they be ok with out a heater

ok so what fish can they go with

will a 4 gallon tank be ok for two frogs

a clawed frog will grow to 5 inches and i think they'll eat anything they can fit in their mouths
which is why it's not recommended to keep them with fish

it will need to be heated unless you keep the tank in a warm room that stays constant year round.

read that for tank requirements

it sounds like you're more after a dwarf frog than a clawed frog
they are VERY similar though, and you can't get albino dwarf frogs.
still can't be kept with goldies though
a goldie would probably try and eat a dwarf frog heh.

can i keep dwarf frogs with gold fish

As catxx has said, no the goldfish would probably eat the frogs. The frogs also like warm water and goldfish dont

Nah, you could house dwarfs with goldies.

Depending on the size of the goldies and whether or not you want to spend a lot of time feeding the frogs by hand.

I had 3 dwarfs with my 3 goldies awhile back (I have since rehoused the dwarfs to make it easier to feed them).

The goldies didnt bother my frogs, but they do eat ALL the food leaving nothing for the dwarfs so I had to actually feed them by hand.
Too much work.

Now, if your goldies are 6,7 maybe 8 inches long they may "try" to eat the dwarfs, but IMO I dont think they will.

I have an african clawed albino in a tank with 3 fully grown (or close to) Angels, these are fine and they dont bother each other (been in about 3 months). Unfortunately i quickly learned that any smaller angels will quickly disappear overnight.
