yvez9 you don't know JACK FISH Joined Oct 30, 2004 Messages 2,423 Reaction score 0 Location Montreal, Quebec Feb 3, 2006 #5 i find in larger tanks with only one filter, it actually helps to get water movement where the water would become stagnant it doesn't do much for oxygen levels though as the regular filters usually bring them up to the water's peak levels
