Ahhh I Can't Believe I Found Him!

Forever I've been dying for a solid yellow CT, I've looked on aquabid, searched the local petstores, the petstores never had any and the ones on aquabid were either over priced or didn't look very healthy. Well today I went to petsmart and just rummaged around the bettas (not planning to actually buy anything) when I saw the most beautiful solid yellow CT!!! AHHH I'm sooo excited!!! So without further adieu meet Aloha...

Nice boy & girl. But thought you were overstretched (time and money) and got rid of all your bettas - several times. And moving onto cichlids ?
It's just quite amazing to watch you buy new fish every few weeks and them sell them with the reason that you can't cope.

That she sold ? No, loads of them - several times. First going on the breeding spree buying expensive bettas - then on the rescue spree. Then selling them all. Then doing it all again - is what it seems like. I lose track.

He's pretty.. I thought you were getting out of bettas though? Hence why you adopted out Aiden to me.. If you still have bettas you don't want though I'm planning on another few..

First of all, BettaBum wasn't getting out of bettas because she "couldn't cope". She just decided that she wanted to start keeping some different fish instead. I understand that. Maybe she has done it more times that I have heard about, but if that's what she wants to do, oh well. At least the bettas are going to good homes.

And BettaBum, that new boy is gorgeous!!! I'm happy you finally got your yellow CT.

I tried to find a new home for two of my bettas. One of my girls because she was overly aggressive and I didn't have space to seperate her. But she ended up getting and dying from parasites before I could send her to her new owner. The other betta I was trying to find a home for was because I felt bad about keeping him in a closet because he liked being alone and way from other bettas. But I ended up keeping him anyway, and talked my mom into letting me keep him in the bathroom, so he isn't in the closet anymore. He is very happy and bubblenests all the time now.

I have never gotten rid of any of my bettas.

AWWW! He looks like my new boy, Shelldon. Can you believe I actually found a nice yellow CT as a rescue? He has some tailbiting issues but he's adorable.

I was wondering, so long as we're in this thread... a while ago, you had some girl bettas for adoption, and potentially some males too. I'm looking to adopt or rescue a female or a very placid male for my 15g divided tank, as Buckeye had to move out due to the other girls (the two from you) seemed to frighten her. I though I'd throw the offer out there in case you still had some left over adoptions.

wow first of all I have a 29 soroity so that explains the new girl. But yes I was clearing out some bettas, who I made sure all went to wonderful homes. And I wasn't planning on getting a new betta unless I could find a nice yellow ct because I've been dying to get one forever. And yes ren I have a couple girls if you're interested. I have one nice opaque girl with some red wash, shes a crown tail and very laid back, so let me know
