hello everyone

First of all These are the fish i have in my 63 litre tank

2 Zebra danios

4 Neon tetras

3 Female Guppys

4 male Guppys

2 Corydoras Catfish

2 Gouramis 1 male 1 female

2 Female bettas

The problem i have is that one of my zebra danios was injured and lost the use of his swimbladder and has since died One of my female Guppys has now had her fins torn apart and is breathing fast and resting on the bottom and all of the male Guppys have had their tails ripped. Is it most likley the bettas that have done the damage or do you think it could be one of the other fish?. Please can you advise me as what to do. Thanks for anyone that can help me.

probaby the gouramis,
but the best thing to do is to wait and see for yourself
there are some odd fish out there
my friend had a guppy terrorizing her tank

Ok thanks for the advice..

They must get bullied at lights out because they are always damaged in the morning and i always watch them with the lights on and havent seen anything.

Well it maight be the gourami. But females arent very peaceful neither.

My female gouramis are MUCH more aggressive then the males. It may also be the betta. Do you have adequate hiding places for them?

yes there are lots of hiding places for them but they all seem to stay out in the open?... since my last post my female guppy has died :byebye: thats the second fish in about 2 weeks The other one was a zebra danio who was fine the day before then the next day couldnt swim the right way up 3 days after that i had to do my first euthanisa on him :byebye: I really hope i can find out which fish is doing this.

Thanks for your help

I would say that it's either the gouramis or the bettas. I think that the most practical thing to do would be to get 2 betta tanks for the female bettas, and see if it continues. If so, it's probably the gouramis. At least you would have a better idea of who the culprit is... :shifty:

ok thanks for your help mesome i will try that first and see what happens :)
