Ok I am admitting I do not know what the hell I was doing when i got my fish and now I NEED help

I have things I want to keep but at this point I am needing to start trying to have happy fish and not just what I WANTED.

here is the currant stocking of the 55 gal

3 X Clown Loachs
1 X Zebra Danio - this can deffintly go, I never really wanted him in the 1st place
1 X Golden Gourami - currently is bothering the other Gouramis
1 X Platium Gourami
1 X Oplaine Gourami
1 X Green severum - He is needing to go I am pretty set on this one
1 X Marbel angelfish - He is full grown and was giving to me I would trade him as well
1 X Silver tail Angelfish - again was giving to me but if I was to keep one of the angels it would be this one
5 X Black Skrit tetras -
1 X Common pleco - when i got this I thought it was a BN and he is now getting to big, needs to go as well
1 X Red parrot - this needs to go as well

here is the stocking on the 20 gal

4 X blue neon tetras
6 X black neon tetras
1 X rubbernose pleco
1 X sunburst platy
1 X Neon blue drawf gourami - is always bulling these other fish but used to be in the 55 gal and was quite calm
1 X Red flame gourami

I KNOW i made some mistakes but I would like to try and correct that now. Some of these fish will be very esy to trade becuase they are in very good condiction and quite large 9 common pleco, both Angelfish, Red parrot, Green severum) the others didn't cost that much to begin with so I can't really imagene they will be very easy to trade to the LFS but I could find home through somewhere else.

So the grand question is ...........What should I keep and what should I trade, and what should go in what tank with what other fish.

Both tanks are heavily planted and have perfect stats as they stand right now.

Ok well the obvious answer to your question is take back the fish that are causing the aggression. Other then that, in your 55 gallon I would reccommend rehoming the following:
the 3 clown loaches (they will outgrow your tank, they grow very slowly though)
2 of the 3 gouramis, gouramis tend to be aggressive towards each other so its best to have just 1 male per tank or a pair (m,f)
the green severum (gets quite larger, 12"+, standard 55 is only 12" wide so doesn't give it a lot of room to turn around)
the common pleco (grows too big)
the parrot (may pick on the angels)

And then keep the rest of the fish, or you could switch it around and keep the parrot and work around that.

In your 20 gallon, everything looks ok, but if the gourami is being aggressive and causing stress to your other fish then I would say he should go.

Parrot Cichlids, in my experience, generally cause no damage when performing their "attacks", but their presence can induce some fish to hide.

I would try to have a trio of a single species of Gourami, instead of several different species. :good:

I agree. I am owned (lol) by 3 parrots and they think they're all macho and everything but they are actually quite timid. Mine do well with larger tetras and bottom dwelling fish that can't fit in their mouth (maybe they would be fine with angels?), so it wouldn't be difficult to work around the parrot if you wanted to keep him/her (althought it doesn't sound like you do).

I agree with Meg and Lynden the common plec, the severum, the parrot & the gourami's would be what I would pick aswell as the clown loaches

I really want to keep the clown loaches ( I love em) I think the sev and the parrot i will try to rehome this weekend, how do angels do by themsleves cuz I might try to get rid of the marbel angelfish as well. The common HAS to go as well but he might be harder to place. If I were to get rid of all of them do you think some of the aggression between the gouramis would die down being that they would have way more space?

OK the 55 gallon: The clown loaches need to go. I would say the severum and the red parrot too. Also definatly the common pleco. Pick ur fave of the gouramis and get read of the rest. Yes get read of the danio.

The 20: U could possibly put him in the 55 gallon if he was peacefull. I think the 20 is fine but just get a couple more neons.

What size tank do you need for clown loaches? Everything I have read said they should be fine in a 55 gal tank, esp if there are only 3 ( which at this point are only about 3" long)

You need a big tank for clown loaches! What I have been told is that u need atleast a 100 gallon tank!!!

I got yo yo loaches instead of clowns they only get to max 6 inches and are just as much fun to watch, maybe your lfs could swap them?

I have asked quite a few ppl I know who keep clowns (actauly we got them at the same place) and they said that they CAN get to 12" but most of the time only get to around 6-7". Our own website says min tank size for clowns is 55 gal, so why does it seem so rediclous for me to keep them..............

I took the Green sev, marble angel, common plec, and the red parrot back today. I was sad to take them out but I think the rest of the tank mates are happier. all of a sudden everyone is swimming freely......

So this is now the stocking I have

the 55 gal

3 X Clown Loachs ( about 2-3" each)
1 X Zebra Danio - (1.5 inches)
1 X Golden Gourami - (3.5") still bothering the other Gouramis, but has calmed down a little since removing the big fish
1 X Platium Gourami- (2.5")
1 X Oplaine Gourami- (2.5")
1 X Silver tail Angelfish -(4")
5 X Black Skrit tetras -(1" each)
1 X Red flame gourami ( 2.5")
1 X rainbow shark (2")
1 X Albino Rainbow shark (2")

here is the stocking on the 20 gal

8 X blue neon tetras (1")
6 X black neon tetras (1-1.5" each)
1 X rubbernose pleco (2.5")
1 X sunburst platy (2")
1 X Red wag platy (2")
1 X Neon blue drawf gourami -(2.5")

halfblood, clown loaches don't need that much room, although it is nice :D, I'd say get rid of at most 1 clown loach and the other you want to get rid of. The gourami is most likely a male and bothering the other 2 one of which is porbably a male too! They are agressive towards other males, I'd say get a small school of tigers in their if you get rid of both angles :p and ya the red parrot HAS got to go! :D good luck!
