Active Betta

I recently got our first betta. I had one or two bettas in the past a long time ago in fish bowls cause I didn't know any better. My husband said that he has never seen a betta that was so active. I said that's because you have never seen a betta in a tank with a heater and a filter. He said that he didn't know that they should have that. Ignorance is not always bliss.
 
If you want a boring fish that won't live that long, get a betta in a fish bowl. If you want a beautiful, vibrant and active fish that can last for years, put that same betta in a tank with a heater and a filter. HUGE difference!

Thanks for sharing this, it's really good and helpful! Now I know my betta (when I get one) should be pretty happy in my 8 gal (well, 30L) tank with filter & heater. what foods do you feed your betta?

Yep, that is the same thought I had when I got my current betta (had one for a very short time before him).  He is doing stuff all the time... betta's I'd seen in the shop before just sort of hang there.
