A Wood Wall?

Thanks for your kind words. I think this is as far as it goes til crimbo as the range is sold out.
So til crimbo, I'll leave you with a shot of one of my shrimpies. If anyone could Id on the said then please go ahead.

like i said they were 15 pence each so i though cant be too bad

Tank looks fabulous!
Don't forget though if you ever have to use meds that all the wood will have displaced quite a bit of water.
Looks like a ghost/glass shrimp, amano have little brown dots on their sides.

thanks lily,
well i do hope to never have to but if i do i will take it into account thanks,
ahh i see i did wonder if it was that they were stressed in the store and so the colour doesnt come out for a few days?
much like fish in stores ?

Nah I agree with Lillefishy, it's not an Amano as they don't have that characteristic hump on the back.

Stunning looking tank with all the wood.....if feel a little 'aqua-scaping' session is on the cards!!

Hi all really sorry for bringing back this thread but got some more wood but could do with some help as to how to use it.

This one is 26" long so in a three ft tank may take up a bit of space

This one is 10" long

This one is 17" long

And this one is 1' all round.

All of this for ten pounds I couldn't really say no. Any ideas let me know. Thanks and again sorry for rebooting the thread

No, I really liked this thread. Reboot it away!

What type of wood is that?

In all honesty i've no idea what wood it is. But its quite heavy and if I had bought it in shop it would of cost around 60-70 pounds glad you like it. May have to go for a full rescape to make this work.

so after a lot of lining up I have somehow got them to stay like this

To get this in the tank I'll have to completely empty it of decor and start again a shame but we'll see

Fishaholic has got wood!!

yes.gif

couldnt resist it!!

Are you still grabbing all this from the range and dunhelm mill?  Think i will be having to make a trip. I am needing more wood.

Haha
