A Very English Spring

phew!

Thank Liz, thats exactly how i felt when i'd finished.

as i say, the lesson learned is 'not to rush the hardscape'. Although, it was hard to work with and had to take the saw to the wood!

And despite this, you'll still be welcoming your second child to the world very soon. :p

I'm sorry you set yourself up and you know I'm very good with UK humour. :p

But only good UK humour.

Wood does look great. Wow, quality stuff. Yep, from the US, West coast to be exact. Barr sells tons of it all the time. I just never got into it.

Liz

It is the best looking wood i have seen in the UK, i hope it remains looking as it does now. The Sumatra wood looked great when it went in the tank ages ago, and then just darkened off to blackness!

That wood placement is definitely the best. T'will be good to see it develop :good:

Thanks Cazzie, the wood is releasing tannins really bad! It the worse i have had for tannin release. More Carbon in the filter and daily water changes for a few weeks!

i'm not sure if you can see the tannins, but they are certainly there!
