Are people actually that desperate to start a tank? Sounds disgusting to me

I'm lucky enough to be able to throw media from cycled tanks in to a new aquarium to get it cycled

As for the yuck factor.. isn't it like us taking a bath? We soak in our own dirt and such! Now that's disgusting!

I can only imagine though.. if you try to cycle your tank by peeing in it, and your family comes home to find you hovering over the tank, aiming as best as you can..

They'd have you committed!

Actually, did you know , you contract more germs from biting your nails that you would if you licked the rim of your toilet !! Fact.
