Swearing filter's awsome addition:) for those like me who only get time on here after a long day and forget what we're typing it fixes our bad habbits and lack of conecentration !:)

The filter is not that good Always4lora. You still need to watch it yourself. It is one of the infractions that I like to deal with the least because often people don't realize what they have done.

Point is Knox... it is a banned word, so if you happen to type anything which results in ****, then rephrase... & even to bypass the filter is still an offense... so I'll just edit your previous post slightly.

We all curse/swear to some point in day to day life, but i agree swearing or using bad language on a public forum is not on,especially with younger viewers present.

Going back to using 'sugar' etc and words that may replace certain words is just the same has swearing, the thought is still there, but they are more words in the english language that can be used instead of profanities.

My 8 yr old nephew said to me a while back that he said frosties instead of the 'f' word, but i told him that its not nice to replace a word with another one that doesn't mean the same, and swearing is not nice.he laughs about it now but said he just wanted to say it without his parents knowing he was swearing

 This reminds me of our neighbour's little boy, Peter who was crying out in the garden some time back, so I asked him what was wrong.... "I spoke German and my dad understood me" was his reply!
