btw when can i put them in the main tank, the biggest molly is bout 4cm big. i want to put them in this weekend as they (25) are outgrowing their little 5g tank

I would personally wait for a few weeks until they're a bit bigger, what else is in the main tank has you have several :)

If the fry is mouth size for other fish then its best to leave it at the mo.

I put my platy fry in when they were 4 weeks old and around an inch long, the adults chased them for a while, now they leave any new additions alone, :good:

i let my platy and guppy fry stay in the main tank and theyre doing just fine! they school together and the adults pay no mind to them. my orphaned platy fry even swims with one of my males. kind of like a surrogate father. its sooo cute. i think the fry would be ok as long as they have plenty of room and places to hide. i have gravel, plants, and wood for them to hide in in case they get chased but they dont. they were born in the tank with the others.

well, ive managed to get a (free) 10g tank, which their goin into on sat! so ill have 25 approx fry in a 10g soon!

here they are at 13 days old,
