A Fishy Tale

The Idea is simple each person add a sentence to the previous sentence, eventually creating a story.
 
I'll start off
 
On my way to work I saw the most amazing............

Betta in a LFS window so I walked in and said.....................

 

[RCA]

"What an amazing colour, I have never seen a transparent Betta before" and then ...

The guy said "you can take him home for free, but be aware, you must not look him in the eye or there will be grave consequences"....

 

[NickAu]

You must keep him in a 15 gallon tank all on his own.........................................

And he must never eat after midnight......

I took the Betta who I named "Little Devil"   home and put him in my 15 gallon tank and then Iooked him directly in one of his eyes

Little Devil stared back, I could see in his eyes that he was not going to back down from my challenge.

We carried on a staring contest far into the night...

And then I noticed something else about Little Devils eye, deep in the recesses I could see another world that.....

Was red and gold and burning. Skeletal faces flashed about the flames and chanted something I couldn't hear. Then, without warning, the fish opened his mouth and...

Burrrrrrped  and some strange looking thing  started to protrude from his mouth. It looked like....

...Katy Perry. Except it wasn't, it was a rather attractive but alsorather deadly female Spinker Catcher from the planet Zarg; a small, rocky planet in a far galaxy. Katy, or rather the SC, opened her enormous Sprokfiddler vents and said to me, in an accent similar to a Liverpool docker.....
