1) Most important of all is to use the best English you can possibly use. We can't help you if we can't understand you. Please use proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation. I'd LOVE to help you, if I can only understand what you are talking about.

2) We really would like to know what the symptoms your fish has are. All of them.

-Is your fish pale?
-Is he/she eating?
-When was your last water change?
-How long have you had this fish?
-What are the water parameters?
-What is the tank like?
-Does your fish have white spots sprinkled all over him/her?
-How about what looks like gold dust?
-Have you noticed this fish's body start to swell without explanation?
-Does it look like the scales are sticking out like a pinecone?

ANY detail about this fish, no matter how seemingly insignificant, may be VERY important in figuring out what the problem is.

3) Come prepared with this information, if possible. It will make it so that we don't have to ask, and so that you can get the advice you need and want faster.

4) If you don't feel like you are being helped, then let us know! Most of us are more than happy to help, and don't like the thought of a Betta dying if there was anything we could have done to prevent it.

Thank you. A little bit of help from the person asking the question will allow the people giving the advice to dispense the advice in a much more timely manner, allowing treatment to be administered much quicker, which may just save some lives.
