A Few Random Shots From My 400ltr Tank

The clown loaches look great, are they best kept in groups
yes the are one of the most hierarchal fish out there, so a group of them is a must. 3 is the recomended min but as with all
gregarious fish the more the merrier.

what size is it exactly? and mind if I ask what it's stocked with??
54"L x 18"W x 30"H (24" of water)

stocking is a bit more of a problem but here goes
10 disc tetras, 8 redfinned tetras, 10 clown loaches, 1 tiger loach, 1 black shark, 1 longnosed distichodus, 1 eelcatfish,
4 reedfish, 1 polypterus laperadi, 1 polypterus ornatipinnis, 1 polypterus delhezi, 5 apollo sharks, 1 black shark, 5 filament barbs, 1 L235 pleco,
1 royal pleco, 1 A.adonis pleco and a pair of red juwel cichlids. I think that is all.

just thought I add the filtration is via
1x Eheim classic 2215 &
1x Tetratec 1200

the clowns range from 2-3" upto 8" :good:

That's the 2ft exodon tank. There's some pics in a thread in Cyprinids about them, but I'm sure Wolfy will oblige to post some pics here ;)

Nice, and a great idea! DIY I guess.....
sort of.
the 400ltr tank and cabinet were custom made.
I decided, after a few weeks of it running, to get a tank
made for the middle section of the cabinet. (24"L x 16.5"W x 14"H)
I used the shelf that was in the section to make the
flap, which is attached to the lefthand door via three
metal ties and also with mag catches for added strength when closed.

The light is attached to the upper part of the section, which just happens to be the support for the
400ltr, so the screws were carefully screwed in by hand, very slowly :')

A pic (or two) is worth a thousand words (clik thumbnails)
