A Few Pics Of My Oddballs

Piranha tanks are cool , only thing that puts me off with them is if you fancy a slight change you cant due to no tank mates would have to sscrap it and start again. Gooud Luck though #:)

You're so lucky! Those are like all my favorites that I wish I could have but my mom only says i can get when i move out! -_-

cheers but they are all sold now bar the Bichir which I will take to a LFS this week if I get no enquiries!!

well all the fish went and I now have 10 baby red belly piranhas in there, had them 10 days now and they are spot on, rekindling my interest in my fish tanks again as I had a bit of a downer after events at tail end of last year

They are feeding well and growing already, I will get pics whenthey are a little bigger

I know how you feel mate. I have had a poor time of it towards the end of last year tbh. Not long after I bought those fish from you mate I had a disaster, the Fire Eel managed to squeeze out of a stupidly tiny gap I left after feeding and I found him dried up on the floor in the morning, I was so gutted, I really loved him, especially hand feeding. Not long afterwards the same happened to a Bichir and snakehead I had in there and I just effectively gave up on oddballs an sold everything.

I have bought another couple of tanks since though that I really like, so gonna set my 6 footer back up for Oddballs. just bought 3 Archerfish (Freshwater ones) and a brilliant looking Centipede Knifefish which I know I'll love. Definately got my mojo back now and within about a year will be upgrading to a 9x3x3 for when we buy the new house, so it gives me more options to grow fish up in my 6x2x2 for now.

Surprised you went for Piranha after seeing your setup? Thought you were into more active fish? Hope all is well with the new babies anyway.

p.s. Where is this local shop you use? It seems so much better than all the ones I go for Oddballs, wouldnt mind popping over to see it.

Hello mate
the LFS Is Andys Aquatics in New Ferry just by Bhead tunnel, itsmy best local shop but I go regulalry sosee the better stuff

I;m enjoying the Piranhas, they;ve been pretty active and showing some interesting behaviour plus I need to spoend less money this year and not having the option of spending £70 here and there on fish will help lol

9ft tank soundsspot on, if mine sells and I get my big old house with loads of rooms I;ll be doing the same and copying Dave Oddballs

Yeah, Ive been watching that myself for ideas. I cant wait to shift all the Figure 8s and BBG's over to the smaller tanks now and get these in the big tank. I might pop over to that shop the weekend see if I can find anything of interest. gonna lose the Cichlids this time and just go with the bizzare
