My visit to Petco for a girly paid off, with a... um.. I don't know the coloring, but she's a crowntail. However, she does NOT match with my "breeding male," sooo I got a similar colored CT boy. Enjoy

Also, the female is either eggy or I've just boughten a fish that's going to die. But they have a voracious appetite.
EDIT: I must also say, I love CTs. Though I've never had luck with them before, the male is ALREADY building a bubblenest!!! Then again he can see five other bettas, soo.. my only worry is the female is fiesty and flares back (though she doesn't attack the glass or anything) but eehhh.

Nope! Definitely a girl. Just high quality. She has the ventrals, girl body type, no operculum, an egg spot, just long finned. Which makes up for the poor boy's lack of fin.. LOL
