9 days and still no nitrites

I did put a couple of handles from my established 5 gallon in the cycling 10 gallon. I guess I'll just wait I just hate that my fry are in an overstocked 4 gallon and I have no where to move them for now, and their growth is getting stunted

Finally, after 12 days of cycling, my nitrites have almost appeared! I say "almost" because the colour of the water sample after testing for nitrite is somewhere between 0 ppm and 0.25 ppm. Yah!!

One of the toughest things about fish-keeping that I've found is the fact that nothing gets "fixed" quickly. It's often a test of patience, but is worth it, in my opinion.
