It looks like you have an algae problem.try getting some snails. Astrea, cerith, and turbo. Clive the shrimp will come out more if he is in a group, i have three peps in my tank and they are always out and will chase and clean my hamd.

Hows your BOYU lights? i have the 1ft one and the blue bulb has recently blown. I haven't long had the unit and there is nowhere to buy replacement bulbs. Pretty poor if you ask me.

Tanks looking good though, maybe add a background to hide things?

thanks, ive recently modified my DIY reactor, which seems to be working brilliantly and i have no cyano i ran outta funds so im just riding along with pocket money so no new friends for clive atm

my BOYU unit seems to be okay, but one of the bulb sockets are a little dodgy, and needs to be down for the bulb to be on

i know i did have a background at one point, but the refugium is siliconed to the back of the tank so i need a piece of acrylic to slot inside the tank one day... one day... haha

my Hammer got Brown jelly, so that was quicly removed, and i got it replaced for free, with a frogspawn

Mine on the other hand hasn’t even started, having recently quit one of my two jobs has given me more time, so i will (heres hoping) start a wee tank now. The amount of times I’ve said ill start a tank is unbelievable! ha.
