6 Months In Update.

good value too at £22

Thanks for the comments. not been on for a while although i do keep tracks of the threads.

Its nice to know i'm not the only one who can see it coming together.

A bit of extra height at the back would make it look more complete imo. Not sure how to get it though, weather it be a toadstool typle thing or more rock

Tank is looking lovely :good: I agree about the toadstool, would be a nice addition, long polyp one would be fab up there or maybe a Hammer (love my pink and lime green one  )

a hammer is defo on the wants list.

the space will be filled eventually. if you check the latest fts vs the old one you will see the growth in height.

and a few more pics since i'm on a roll.

yeah it came from woodthorpe aquatics near mablethorpe. its about an hour drive from my gaf but its worth it cos they have different stuff in.

Here is an updated fts. as requested by seffie, too long ago.

My button colonies occupy the left side and mushrooms along the right.

Torch coral has been moved more central into higher light.

Cloves get a good blow from the nearest powerhead and thrive.

Xenia has been moved after a week of closed polups. Think this was just its growth pattern though as its stockier looking
now its re emerged.

few smaller rocks on the sand base are just waiting for my friend rob (Fozone on here) to collect. He has my old aquamedic and has got as far as cuc and clown pair.
Two quick question's, how long would you wait from the stage im at now to purchase my 1st coral...and shall i get another koralia pump??

forgot to tell you i also have a 'scarlet skunk' cleaner shrimp in their now

i have a couple of bits here you can have.

One has some button polyps on it and the other has 2 snake polyps.

Put those in and you should be fine.

Water quality is very important with corals, rob.

As long as your stats are consistently low then the gradual introduction of corals shouldn't be a problem.

As i keep saying though, Start your own thread/topic so the nice buys and girls on here will see what you have and answer any questions you have, Adam.

i do...i think i'l have to move one round the front again for a while...i need that sand moving...

what do you suggest?

join photobucket so you can upload photos.

I'm sure you can direct one or the koralias downwards to increase the lower flow. You have plenty of flow for the size tank you have.

Don't forget that the return pipe from the external filter you have will count too.

Maybe you should use that to disrupt the surface and leave the koralias pointing at the rock work.

I have some hammer I'm looking to move on; my tank is over run with the stuff. The clowns love it and no reef setup is complete without some clowns !! Nice looking tank congratulations on the sucess!!

Regards

Great pics mutant. If it were my tank, I'd kill that nem before it starts breeding :)
