Very beautiful tank, your doing a great job. Have you ever used poly-fil, I get mine from Walmart, this stuff works great for polishing your water and clearing it up. You put it inside your filter.

Yes was looking at some but none of the kinds I was looking at could tell me 100% they didn't use any flame retardants so I went with some Fluval polishing pads to play it safe after this whole mess lol

Never considered asking about flame retardants, but I have been using this for several years now and so have others in our aquarium filters with no problems.

I'm tempted to say "all's well that ends well", but bittersweet might be the better adjective here. In all, it is great to see the fish so happy My son can't quite reach the top of a fishtank yet, but never too early to start learning the 'wash before, wash after' rule! We're still working on "take shoes off before you walk into the house" soooo, work in progress!!

Water is already clearing up some which is great.

The fish got some frozen goodies today as a "welcome home" treat.

Theyre already way less faded and very happy to be back

Though the AC50 filter has a leak, so thats gonna be repaired, but suppose of all things, that's not so bad.

Collected a few more this afternoon too.
I'm thinking this fiasco is over, I think i may be out of the danger zone finally.

Though I haven't seen my BN pleco in a couple days since he went and ate, so hoping he makes an appearance soon, getting a bit worried.

Well over 30 eggs collected, they were still all spawning by the time I did lights out tonight.

Bit of sad news to follow up on this tank. Just another kicker this whole fiasco.

My BN pleco didn't adapt well to all these changes, he wound up jumping. I hadn't seen him since the night after we moved them when he ate a wafer. Been looking ever since and hadn't seen him, even felt around for him.

I dismantled the drawers under the dresser the 55 is on, I found him under there.
