Ok so i got a 55 gallon tank with deluxe black stand, hood, lighting, ebo jagger heater (im guessing its sufficient since i got it from a full time fish breader), undergravel filter with 4 pumps (he insisted i get this, i kind of wanted sand though, oh well), and gravel all brand new for $300 is that a good deal by the way? I AM going to have it be a planted tank with around 33 plants. Will i most definetly need a CO2 thing for that? And im getting a secondary power filter i think a penquin 330, is that good enough? Is there any other equpitment i need?
Thanks in advance for the help

you have to consider how you're going to set up the lighting, and if you're going to use an hangonback filter, you'll have big co2 loss because of the surface aggitation. A canister filter would be ideal for heavily planted tank...IMO
