5 Gallon

What kind of fish(es) can I keep in a 5 gallon tank. Do not say Betta fish! But what other kinds of Fish(es) can I keep in a 5 gallon tank?

dunno if those microrasbora species might be happy at all, but you could get a dwarf frog (not clawed) it's not a fish, but oh well

A dwarf puffer would be so cute! (That's what mine is set up in.) Or 3 dwarf frogs. Or a few white clouds.

your looking at 5 neons or 5 harliquins, anything of that size but no more than 5

White Clouds also fit that bill. And you wouldn't need a heater with them unless it gets very cold in your house in the winter.
Sparkling gouramis would also be great in that tank. They are terrific little fish, when you can find them.

personally i wouldnt put white clouds, neons or harliquins in a 5gallon as i think its too small and the fish need more room to move, plus they are all shoaling fish which need to be in biggest group possable.
but a small group of sparkling gouramies would look good.
