well, just an update we got the new shippment today and all is well, only had like 4 die today before i left hope it is all good now.. everything looked nice.. lots of pretty fish to sell.. i know it will go well, and next week i am on vacation after all this i need it bad.. :) i will be in here most of the week...

Hey Walmartfish, you may want to attempt to talk your bosses into allowing you to quarantine new fish shipments. It seems that what's happening in your tanks is that when you get a new fish shipment in, you immediately put them up for sale and add them into your tank system, which i presume has central filtration and water shared among many tanks. If just a few of those new fish are sick it can easily spread to your other fish as you've noticed. If you were allowed to keep new fish quarantined for a few weeks before putting them into the shared system the chances of infecting your entire sale stock would be greatly reduced. If you are already doing that then just ignore me! :p

Enjoy your vacation!

well, thanks for the advice but i don't keep fish that long i get a new shippment every thur.. and i have to tell ya, i got the new fish yesterday and i am almost out of fish again they have sold like crazy...by monday i will be out completely... everyone has gone out and set up there tanks while we fixed our problems and are back now to get there fish.. :)

walmartfish,

Wow, I'm in N. Austin and I noticed you are in Texas as well. I stopped and visited my local WallyWorld (Walmart) early this week and noticed that all the fish from the larger tanks were dead and being cleaned out. I'm currently getting ready to stock fish soon, so I look wherever I go, to salivate over them until I can get my fish into my tank. Hope that was your Walmart and that it wasn't a widespread condition.
