4 month old giant

There is a guy on ebay selling what he says are Half giants. But, he says they only get to about 2.5 inches. Isn't that a reg size betta? Below is taken directly from his description.

Parents are: "Thai Giant Plakat male (100% Giant Geno) and a CT Female; that makes this guy a 50% Giant, which means he should grow to about 2.5-2.75 inches...could be bigger with proper food and water conditions"

that's just a regular betta. my giants, whom i assume are half giants, are about 4 inches. i'm not sure how old they are since i just got them, so if they keep growing, maybe they will prove to be full giants.
