If we're talking reef, then the lighting is going to be expensive, especially for such a deep tank.
I'd get LEDs or you'll need your own power station.
 
That would mean something like 8 radion units, which at 550 each makes a hefty £4400

are you sure you dont want to do a big freshwater tank? would look awesome with a bunch of small fish too, and it would be much cheaper.

This is not a project that I will complete in a day, it could take me well into next year to finish anyway I found a company that can make what I want using 2-inch thick sheets of acrylic, the only problem it its in usa  not uk.

I never ever thought of that, its for the ground floor in my barn conversion house so its a solid floor not wood. if the ground can take the weight og my house then I am sure it should be ok
