I have a 35 litre fish tank set up and just thinking about getting fish in a few weeks. I know its only a small tank as didnt want a big one as its only for my bedroom.
Just wondering what sort of fish i can have in here and how many?

cyle the filter first, it could take months before its ready for fish, info in the beginners section here.

35 litres isnt much room for anything other than shrimp and micro fish

Yep, Micro Rasbora's would be a great addition along with some shrimp. Very interesting scape to be made from a 35 litre planted tank.

You could try a male betta with a shoal of micro/chilli rasbora? :good:

I`ve got a 28l with a betta ,4 neon tetra ,2 apple snails and 2 freshwater shrimp in.

So far they`re still alive ,but i`m taking them back to lfs at first opp.as they`re gross!!

THANK YOU EVERYONE :D !!
I did say im waiting a while before im getting any. Just getting an idea of what i could get when im ready.
I wanted an apple snail, do they eat the fish or kill them or something?
I like the sound of Maisy's fish set up :) can you have those plec bottom feeder things with other fish?

when snails die they let out a lot of ammonia, in a small tank that can be lethal as the dead snails pump out a lof of ammonia.
