Hello,

Just singed up no more than 10 minutes ago. My name is Adam and im from Orange, CA. I've been hangin out @ Plantedtanks.net or .org....it's actually been awhile for me.

I like to travel and honestly I havent been keeping up with my tank as much as I should be. Don't worry. No fish were harmed in the making or taking of these photos and I still lookout for my fish, it's the plants that are giving me the headaches.

Anyways,

I have re-done my tank probably about 4-5 times since I first bought it. Luckily. I've only lost 1 fish from when I first started but It still a loss and i was bummed when it happened *Bushy nose pleco named Rodney"

Cheers.

Then, This is what happens over a few nights if your not careful:

- I basically tried to OVER-BACTERIALIZE MY TANK, THE PLANTS GREW ENORMUS, BUT CREATED THIS KINDA MOSS:

BAD!!!!! BUT LOOK AT THE GROWTH!!!

IT ISN'T MUCH BUT WITH ME WORKING ALL THE TIME, IT'LL DO AND THE FISH SEEM TO BE QUITE HAPPY WITH IT

That moss is algae! If you are not fully stocked yet, some siamese algae eaters, NOT siamese flying foxes, are great little algae eaters! Your tank before it had an algae bloom was nice!

Can't say i've ever heard of them. Are they pretty easy to come by? How much am I looking to spend for these? Thanks for the comment and input.

Adam

Most pet stores sell them. Even my Petsmart has them in stock. I wouldn't be surprised to see a Siamese Algae eater for less than $3 USD.

Here is another older layout I once had.

Dont worry, once I get things going again, my tank will look great.
