Comments!

My ghetto lighting doesn't have two switches for actinic and white. They just have one for moonlights and one for regular 50/50 lighting.

FTS.

The glass is a bit dirty. I still need to buy more Live Rock for the right side =) Then I think I'll be good for a little while.

UPDATE:

I haven't updated this thread in such a long while! I've been so busy with school and work. But heres an update. Not much has gone down with my tank lately. The corals are getting bigger as well as the fish. I'm thinking the zoanthids got bigger but I'm not sure! Also, I still haven't gotten my koralia 2 yet! I splurged all my birthday money on a navigation system for my car because I'm horrible with directions. Also, my live rock problem hasn't been solved. I've spoke to people about buying theirs but they always flake on me last minute so I've put that on hold until I have more money. :)

Here's the pictures...

The mushrooms made tiny BABEHS!

The zoanthids are alright. One's lighter than the other! I'm not sure why...

Comments are welcome! :p

P.S: FTS won't be available until I clean my glass...Talk about OCD :(

Yeah, I started dosing the tank with Coral-Accel which I'm guessing is helping. Today the Zoanthids aren't opening. Well half of the red rock isn't opening. I just checked the params and they're normal but the lights just turned out at 1:20 so I'm guessing that's what it is.

Just read your thread. Your tank is looking fab. :good:

Dont worry about not being able to get all the stuff you want straight away as I think it is doing you more good than not as marine is all about having patience and taking everything slowly! :p

Make sure you cure any new LR fully before adding to your already established set-up otherwise you may get a big spike in ammonia and nitrites which will cause the tank to re-cycle and will not be too good on your livestock!

Dont worry about your zoo'z not opening, some of mine can go a day or 2 without opening fully whereas the rest remain open and then suddenly they will also open! :/

Yeah I'm planning to buy it from someone close to my house so I can just put the rock in a bucket and take it to my house quickly to prevent a mini cycle.

Thought I'd update this thing...

January 14th 2008

I got new rock! I got about 20lbs of live rock from a local reefer. It doesn't look like 20lbs but one rock I got was 10lbs so maybe thats why lol. I also got more zoos!

Yeah, I'm thinking of getting a yellow watchman goby later though. The last of my cardinals died due to unknown reason. He just stopped eating for one day and then started breathing heavy. Everything was fine and then I found my snails munching on his dead carcass the next day.
