I have cycled my tank (well thought I had done!!) in my Aqua One 620.

Tested the water tonite and got the following readings

PH 7.6
Ammonia 0.0
Nitrite 2.0
Nitrate 20ppm

This is using mature filter media.

Any advice on what to do next is appreciated

Your nitrite levels are critically high so I would leave it for a few days and see what it does.

Lets be clear, are any fish in there ATM? ????

If there are fish in there, you need to do a large (as much as practically possible) waterchange immediatly, with the addition of some aquarium salt to reduce nitrite toxidity assuming you have no salt intollerant species in there :good: After that, proceed as if you were fish-in cycling, as that is what you are doing

If there are no fish, proceed with a usual fishless cycle procedure untill your ammonia and nitrite drop off to zero within 12 hours if you are using liquid ammonia, or hit zero full stop with fish food

All the best
