You wouldn't want a marine tank in your room. I had mine for about a year in my room. The equiptment itself was never too loud (though the skimmer did occationally rattle a little against the wall) but the biggest prob was the the g*ddamn snails. At night they would love to climb under and behind the powerheads and wedge themselves in. Then the vibration of the powerhead would vibrate the snails shell against the glass and all night.... all you hear is the knocking... I would get up to move the powerhead, but 10 minutes later, they had moved behind it again... it was quite frustrating...

haha, but anyways, living room or family room is the way too go :good:

Heh, mine's been in my bedroom for over 2 years. I now have trouble sleeping without the sounds of gurgling water...

haha, the water never bothered me... it was the damn snails trying to get a massage.....

and since we're high-jacking the post, I'll go back to it and ask:

where are the zoa's Nalaundi?

are they on the white rock in the middle of the picture near the sand?

i agree with both of you! It is far to quiet without the water movement.. darned snails on my water pumps lol

ricordia peach and blue... green mouth. it is one of my favorites!

another update.... cause things have changed.. again lol

same tank minus uv steralizer ... only because it was so big and bulky... looked aweful in my 20. so Im going to save it for when I upgrade again.. though not anytime soon. I was worried about my six line messing with the future fish... as they say they can be bullies to new tank mates... so I handed him over ... again... to my friend's tank. he seems to bee taking well to it. today I purchased a true percula (sp?) clown on the smaller side which I wanted, a skunk cleaner shrimp, and a red pulse zenia. and about 6 more astreas... the ones I have are less than earning their keep...lol
I also traded out my aqua clear 10 and my rio 600 pumps for a korilla 1 pump which I am liking verry much... one less thing in my display and my mushrooms seem to like it better. pics will come in a few hours once I have let my zina acclamate a little more

Looking very good mate i like that six-line i've never seen in here in any of my LFS's maybe their hard to come by?

I dont know about in the UK, but all my local salty shops have atleast 2 sixlines at all times... so pretty common in the states I guess.

Def looks alot better with out the bulky UV int he back Nalaundi. Looking good. Do you scrape the sides or just no algae growth yet? I can walk away from my tank for 5 min and you can see the the film of the lagae beginning to grow again!! It's a full time job

Ox :good:
