we realised today that so many are giving us fish (goldfish, comets, shubunkins, koi) that we don't need to buy any fish \o/

if only there was a pond of the month on here, i think we could be in with a chance

well i got home today from work to find 6 fish in my new pond...

i thought it wasn't ready for fish yet but its been going 4 weeks and my dad put some bio start stuff in the filter to get it going faster.

the fish are really cool tho... the 4 gold fish hang around together and they all swim in size formation... (biggest first than small at the back) which is pretty funny.

the 2 darker fish i have only seen once for obvious reason but they like to tag along with the gold fish from time to time

they all came from my nans pond that she has been maintaining since before i was born (about 19 years now i think) and they were all looking very happy, and they love swimming thru the loop in the pump outlet pipe...

i think they will be very happy in there and hopefully my dad didn't put them in there too early, but they look happy atm

took about 6 weeks but that was only working on sundays coz my dad works the other 6 days
