20 Fish

i have 3 tanks, i have one thats been running for 8 months and only have 4 fish in it just now. its a 4.5ft tank. if i was to buy 20 mollies could i put theis in at one time or would it be too much. i thot if i did it i would need a water change more regulary.
 
I would say its not advisable to add that many fish at once because it would be a lot for your bacteria to catch up with. Often I read here that people add maybe 3 or 4 fish at a time. If the filter is well-cycled it will grow to handle that quickly without you needing to add too many water changes. You should, of course, already probably have a weekly water changer schedule.
 
It isnt good to get such big quantity of fish at the same. It will raise the ammonia in the tank and they will die.
