unfortunatly they can fit in biggies mouth he is a goldfish and since being rehomed in the new tank he has grown to be about 4 inches his mouth is huge... i know that goldfish dont normally eat fry(not that i know of) but he eats everything and anything

I'd keep the fry seperated for as long as possible. If you think they are big enough, try this. This is what I did.

Scoop a fry or two into a dixie cup or other type of cup. Place the cup inside the tank and let the fry swim out. Do not simply drop the fry in there, for your fish will think it's food coming down for them to eat. Keep the net in one hand inside the tank and keep careful watch over the fry for a long time. If it is being chased, harrassed, chased, or stared at by any fish, scoop it out immediately and wait a week. Good luck!

i would wait till the three week mark and if you have a planted tank with lots of plants and hiding places id but them in. if not they will be killed and eaten.

hi demonmaqus, biggie is in the tank as he outgrew his other 1.... he suddenly just grew huge lol, i did check with the lfs who said hes fine as long as he is aclimatised properly which he was...hes now that big that it is impossible to get him back into other tank, and a 3rd tank would be a big no no for the other half lol...really need to think about my dads pond if he grows much bigger.lol...dont want to let him go tho

I'd seriously get him in that pond, he will eat everything else tbh and I'm assuming your tank is under 75 gallons so please put him in the pond next summer (otherwise he will freeze)
