One more month and they should have made it to the top!

Fish were looking a bit miffed today and had me worried. I sweated checking all the water parameters, and feel so dumb! It was simply that it had got a little chilly! I have these digital heaters and their idea of 30 degrees C is really 27! Dumb smart heaters!!! Cost a mint too! :(

Anyway, now they are set at 34C and the water is 30, so it's fishy smiles all round again.

That growth is ridiculous.. you've got more growth in a week than I have in 6 months haha :D

I've just ordered all the co2 kit so hopefully I'll be seeing growth like yours ;)

Keep the videos/pics coming :)

:D It's like Jack and the beanstalk!

I just hope the stems don't stop half way, as I really want them all the way up near the surface.

That is actually looking even better. Very, very nice indeed.

Did not think that was possible after looking at your previous pics, these were stunning too as I already commented before!

The stem plant should definitely reach to the top of your tank. I have a couple of these plants in my tank too, albeit a much much smaller tank! lol
But they do grow to about 3 feet so far, they just sort of curl and float at surface of water, my threadfins appreciate this as its a bit of shelter/floating plant type of thing.

I do trim these plants once in a while to stop it growing totally wild!!

That's good to know mate. I can't confess to being a plant guru, and I researched them(after they went in), and saw some info that said they grow to 18 inches. That might be because they are typically in 18 inch deep tanks. I did see some ADA tanks, and they had what look like the same plant and it is nearly 4 feet long. The Cryptocoryne on the right will grow huge, that I know for sure, but they are quite slow growing. It might take many months to get those babies streaming up to the surface. I will do my best to nurture them.

Can also see the wee neons as well if you look a bit harder in bottom left corner and black tetras along top of tank....

Reckon if I had that tank I would be staring at it for hours.........
