Hey Guys!

Ive been floating about on here for ages as you probably have noticed ...

And all i have done is asked questions!

Well i emptied my 2foot tank after seeing how beautiful and big you can make a tank that small look!

I have ...

Ferts = Just using Hagen Plant Grow liquid just now

c02 = DIY c02 unit (Not sure on ppm)

Substrate = Tetra Complete + Layer of fine gravel + play sand on top!

Lighting = 2WPG (Arcadia freshwater lamp and other flourescent :S )

Plants = Riccia on slate, Hygrophila Corymbosa "Siamensis", Alternanthera reineckii ''roseafolia'' ('Pink') and some Java Moss Floating in net at side of tank ! Dont know what i want to do with it just now!

Decor = 1x Fairly big piece of mopani wood (around 12inch long and 10inch high)

I know this first bit hasnt been very descriptive and informative but as things move along and get blooming batteries for my camera things should hopefully become a little clearer

Thanks Alot

Richie

Good job Richie...

The java moss you have, could consider to tie it onto stone or the wood you have.

Cant wait to see some pics soon... :)

Well done!

I had it tied down to my wood before i stripped the tank!

But I dont know what im going to do just now.

Pictures wont be that impressive as I am rubbish at taking pics and afterall it is my 1st attempt hehe!

But I'll learn I suppose!

Just need more money for more plants :)

Thanks

Richie

I think that is no problem to share "not so nice" pics, this is your journal so is interesting if can have some "not so nice" pics initially then can compare the tank after few months time with the one having now. :)

Just like the pic I had in the first page of my thread, so "ugly" yeah... ;)

I really like how the java moss being placed on the wood... it just looks nice to me...

You can slowly add in more plants...

The existing plants can be divided into few smaller plants to speed up the growth and got more plants....

Looking good, what is causing those bubbles? If they aren't CO2 bubbles then if you are hoping to get the most from your CO2 then you need to turn them off. If it is a spray bar from your filter then moving it under the water level and turning it to reduce surface agitation will help, bubbles/agitation will drive off CO2 quicker than you can add it so you'll end up with no CO2.
