150G

its a shame your so far away as wharf have these in all the time and all are about 6 inch  maybe worth a trip though, nice day out. they even have a small crocodile in the reptile part

 I wish i had room for that.

My LFS can order them in so i should be able to get one when im ready for it. Out of interest how much are they there? This one is £25. I would prefer to get a smaller one about 3-4" if i can so it will be able to stay in my tank for longer.

Thats not to bad. But by the time i get up there it will work out alot more expensive.

Biotopes are great fun. I had mine set out as a strict biotope initially but i soon added SAEs to mine, then a plec, then another. And soon it became a dempsey biotope + extras :)

The idea for this tank looks great, can't wait to see pics of it all with its final stocking.

Matt, where is this Wharf you keep going on about. Tempted to take a trip, as i think your in my sort of area(ish), by that i mean by about 30 mins travel.

Wharf aquatics is in pinxton nottinghamshire 5 minutes off junction 28 M1. it takes me about 45 minutes to get there but its well worth the journey as the fish are exceptional in health and all the tanks are spotless. they also stock lots of rarer species that local lfs cant or wont buy in. price wise they arent bad either and most fish are of a decent size and they stock juvi and adults in many species.
well worth the trip as i know im getting good quality healthy stock :good:
i think your in coventry arent you? so it would be about an hour and 15 mins for you max. once you have gone there you wont want to go anywhere else  its probably the pier aquatics of the midlands :good:

Im going to try and keep this to a Tapajos biotope as much as i can but i will probably end up getting the odd fish or 2 that has nothing to do with it. The plan for stocking is now
4 Hypselecara coryphaenoides (only keeping a pair once they pair)
4 Uaru amphiacanthoides (Again only keeping a pair)
6 Geophagus red head
3 BN+fry
4 Banjo catfish
1 Platydoras armatulus
1 Sorubim lima

I found out the Sorubim limas can be found in Tapajos so i might go for a small trio. Ive also been offered 3" uarus for £6 so i might get 4-5 and put them in the 30G and forget about the Hypselecara and see if i can get them at a later date.

Urarus all round then :hyper:

Yeah. They have the ranging betwenn 3 and 6". The 6" ones are £10 but i dont have the room for them until i can get the 150G set up.

Shame. He said there going quite so doubt they will be there when she moves down. Your right though about by the time you get down here they will probably work out alot more. Good luck with the uarus you get anyway :good:

HB is it Kizno1? Don't worry, I have no space for any more fish right now :)

I forget you're close to Norwich, would you fancy a rotkeil someday? I need to sell on a couple soon...
