Yesterday I happened to be walking around an antique shop.

There I saw what appeared to be a 120gal tank.

Taking quick measures in arms I got 60Lx18Wx24Hin I may have been off.

Anyways I managed to bargain $30 for it and

I was wondering if it is lower than for what it regularly goes for.

120gallon tank for $30??? Are you kidding you got an amazing deal! did it include a stand or lighting or anything else? or just the tank itself... even then if it's just the tank, $30 is a steal :D I'd say get into oddballs for that tank! Clown knives are among my favorite... get an arowana too mabye

I got my 90 gal, stand, hoods and lights for 135 so yeah that was an amazing deal...

120g for $30?!?! :hyper:

Yea, that's a great deal. Even for the tank alone. I've seen 10g tanks go for half that before.

An even better deal would be if you were to sell it for $60...to me. :shifty:

BUY MY 55 GAL GAITOR BAIT! I LIVE IN MI TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Not a highjack haha)

haha I just want to get my other filter for my 90 gal!

Nope... no stand, no lighting only the tank.Oddballs might be intresting but on my 10gal alone I have sent around $400 dallors. I mean how much on average should it cost to purchase the basics.

People i don't think I will be getting any 120 gal since it is too heavy...

there is noone to help me carry it and it snowed outside so it is very slippery.

May just have to settle for a 30 gal at petlanddiscount,

construct my own or

I could resort to plastic containers.

Oh yeh and I live in New York.

Besides life is long and there will be other opportunities(as i had one offered to me by my brother before for free). :good:

I don't think my mom will like the idea of having one huge tank in the apartment.

More Michiganders! Wooo!

Ok, to keep this not a hijack- that would have been a sweet deal BUT I would have wanted to test it to be watertight before you purchased it, something that big, being empty for awhile the seals can dry out and get poopy. But as the OP said, more opportounities will come up if you look in the right places!
