one fan is 1.4W

the converter is 12.5V with 0.4A (or 400mA)

therefore, the max waattage of your converter is 12.5 x 0.4 = 5

so 5 watts

5 / 1.4 = 3.57
therefore, your adapter can safely hold 3 fans

am i missing something?

oh yeah, be sure to plug them in parallel and not serie because then, if one goes out they'll all go out.
